Hey guys, we’ve already taken a look at my Light Novel collection so far, so this time, we’ll take a look at my Manga collection! Before we start, though, I must confess that my Manga collection is not nearly as impressive as my Light Novel collection. In fact, it’s actually kind of pathetic, but it’s still growing, so cut me some slack!

First off, and most prominently featured, is my My Hero Academia collection. I currently have Volumes 1 through 11 (though you may notice my Volume 1 is on loan, at the moment.) HeroAca is a series i’ve been following online for years, since around Chapter 1, if i’m being honest. However, the paperback English translations only started coming out very recently, but i’ve been buying them up as soon as they release (Volume 11 only released a few days ago.)
Next up, we’ve got Houseki no Kuni, otherwise known as Land of the Lustrous. This is a relatively recent addition to my collection, as the recent Anime adaptation of the manga absolutely blew my mind, with gorgeous visuals and a very interesting story. I have 4 volumes currently, which combined, have just about caught up to the story from the Anime. I can’t wait for Volume 5, and i’m loving Haruko Ichikawa’s ethereal, haunting art style. The manga has a very different feel to it than the Anime, but they’re both still fantastic.
Last up on the shelf, we’ve got a single, lonely volume of Made in Abyss. Another recent addition, I just couldn’t help myself; I needed to read the manga that had created such an enthralling, frightening, beautiful world, and the manga has definitely delivered. I’m waiting on 5 more volumes on pre-order, which should arrive sometime within the next year or so.
Obviously, this is not all the Manga i’ve read. It’s just rather difficult to get my hands on the stuff, where I live, so it’s a very slow process to accumulate my collection. I’ll come back to this shelf in a year or two, after I expand my collection enough to show it off again!
Hmmm…well I’m almost afraid to say…but my manga collection is even smaller. It consists of five volumes of Batlle Angel Alita, 3 volumes of I am a hero and 1 volume of Erased. So erm…yeah that really is pathetic lol šš

Battle Angel Alita is an absolute gem, and I wish I could find the physical copy of it.

Well: than you might just be in luck. There are now reissues of the original manga released in beautiful hardcover editions. I bought the first one a couple of months back. And the second one will be released later this month šš

That’s a nice collection of manga! š I have the same issue where I live. There’s literally only one store that has a variety of manga. Everytime I go in that store I come out penniless. šš

Haha there’s not even a physical store around here, I have to order everything online and have it shipped… which kinda sucks.

My manga collection is… Um… One manga that i haven’t read yet that I saw at a library book sale and thought, “cute for ten cents I might like it.” It is a fifth volume, but that’s ok, I can probably read the others online!
Yours isn’t half bad, at least you have a series on order, which is more than I can say for my graphic novel collection. (Again, because i buy what I find on the cheap.)
